1st Day of Kid's Club...
Kid’s Camp really got off to a great start today. We had 50 kids (only about 10 were from thechurch) and their participation definitely caught us by surprise. Though I can’t speak for crafts and music, the kids were enthusiastic and thrilled to get outside during the game time into the gorgeous weather, especially the older two of the three age groups. A lot of them were quite new to crab football (soccer) and then we followed it up with normal football (soccer). The smallest group played “duck, duck, goose” as well as “red light, green light.” Alec in particular had a great time leading the games today and did a great job of keeping them in “queue.” We finished up with the classic “messy challenge” in which group leaders play games throughout the week normally involving shaving cream or food. Definitely a crowd favourite! Cheers!
